Wood display decoys

Postby BBR12 » Mon Feb 16, 2015 11:02 am

My mom bought these at an auction, she was told they were from the collection of a guy that was a member of the MS craftsmens guild. Just wandering if anyone may know anything about them. Pictures arent good. The big one is pine and still has circular saw marks on the bottom. The smaller one I couldnt tell for sure what type of wood it is but the growth rings are very tight and the wood is not very heavy. They both have the EJ carved in the bottom.

I am not familiar with any "EJ" decoy makers in MS. they appear to be decorative and not working, so that would take them out of anything I would have researched either.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)
