I had some Hodgeman neoprene which lasted many seasons, then I pulled out some older rubber vinyl? Lacrosse to get a season or two out of them. They actually lasted a few years. Last year it was time for some new ones and decided to take a chance on the 3mm Cabelas, decent price, free shipping, no tax.

They seem just fine (dry & warm) and they'll have to be, waders prices have gone cuckoo.

On the old rubber/vinyl/canvas styles I could tuck my coat inside the waders, suspenders on the outside and all my crap in my coat pockets would stay dry. Not going to happen with neoprene's (or have I gotten fatter?) so my crap gets wet. Coughed up some money for a Drake deep water wading jacket last year, now I'm much happier, as it is really short. Looks kinda goofy but since I don't have to look at me, I'm okay with it.

I just ordered these, but they were on sale for $127. They came in the mail yesterday. They are just the straight 3mm neoprene basic waders. Not much reinforcing like the LightMags or ArmorFlex waders.

The only reason I got these was because they were pretty much out of everything else. I had a $150 credit that I used from a 3 year old pair of LightMags I returned at the end of last season and forgot to order waders prior to duck season. Pickings are pretty slim at this stage in the game.

I guess.

Yeah, I just glanced at the page and mis-read it.

Good waders for the price, though.

Had a pair of the Lacrosse 5mm's that lasted me probably 6 seasons. In the offseason I ordered the new Mack's 3mm ones that are now, coincidentally, made by Lacrosse. They've been good to me so far. So many of these new waders these days have only a velcro strap on the shoulder straps. These Macks of clips and velcro.... double protection.

I've been real happy with my 3.5mm from Rogers. Fit as good as any wader and the price is right. Bonus feature is the fur lined hand warmer!
