Cree Lights

Postby deltadukman » Tue Nov 11, 2014 11:47 am

Anyone have a solid link to the rechargeable headlamps(the big bright ones)? I had one and it messed up, may just need new batteries. Would like to buy a few for Christmas, but I think they wouldne be here in time from the Chineese markets.

Are you talking about the 1800 lumen lights? If so, I need to order a few more because mine are starting to get ragged.

Or do they make an even bigger one now? One that works?

I saw some back when I ordered my last couple of lights that were advertised as 11,000 lumens or had adjustable beams etc. Of course I know this is b.s., but I didn't want to stray from the tried and true ones that are 1800 lumens (b.s as well but not as much). I know some folks who tried to get all crazy and bought the ones that had adjustable beams or had 9,000 lumens. They did good to get a few uses out of them or keep their house from burning to the ground when a battery exploded.

This is not the cheap head lamp that most people are looking for, but my dad coon hunts a few times a week. He uses The Extreme LED that you can buy from huntsmart.com. It has served him very well and it will throw a beam. $249 dollars

I think $250 headlamps have gone the way of $300 homemade game cameras, at least for me.
