Need someone to blow some beaver dams around Rollin fork

Postby matador1 » Sun Oct 19, 2014 9:21 am

Know anybody and what they charge per charge? I've got 3 small check dams that might need 2 charges in one and one in the other. Got all the bigs ones last year and found these on a ditch that controls my whole south end.

Two options, ammonium nitrate and diesel or tanerite and rifle

That guy used 36 pounds while another video shows guys with 3/4 of a pound in water bottles blowing dams. Any consensus from the experts on how much can/should be used and how big of a boom it makes for us interested on-lookers?

You can normally find it online for around $7-8 a lbs. even seen a 40 lbs. bulk package for $250!

I take a 1.5" PVC cut into pieces about 3-4 long, filled with tannerite and glue capped on both ends. This will hold approx three pounds of tannerite and when the pipe is pressed deep into the dam will blow a 3-4 foot wide chunk out.

Very effective if you can hit it without breaking the PVC from a glancing shot. I think academy was selling a 10 pound box kit for $80?
