10/22 vs. Browning SA-22 opinions

So through a series of trades I've acquired a nice 10/22 with factory bull barrel, Hogue overmolded stock (green) with a very nice green cerakote finish. Has good mounts and a pretty decent Millett 3x9x40 Buck silver scope. Has been shot VERY little, almost cherry. Really nice setup.
Thing is, I've always been a Browning fan and think I'd enjoy the takedown 22 if I can get hold of a nice Belgian made one. Value is probable equal.
Opinions? I'm not a tinkerer, not into tricking out the rifle etc. 90% of the time if I'm plinking I use my Buckmark pistol. For hunting skwerls, the 10/22 feels heavy and clunky to tote around in the river bottom.
