I just got on the board and saw this. My jaw dropped. I too never met him in person but messaged back and forth on DU matters and the like. GREAT guy who will be missed by us here on the board and by MS DU as well. R.I.P., Mike. Prayers go out to his family and friends.

Prayers sent to his family and friends. You can't take any day for granted and you have to focus on what is truly important in life (which I rarely do it seems).

We all have our day coming and any one of us could be the next guy to have a RIP thread on this board - think about that for a second - and get right with the Lord if you have not.

I'm stunned. Michael was a good man and a fun guy to hunt with, and a great dad.

This is shocking to say the least. I met MSB once and it was him, his son, Jeff A, GH22, and I fishing with Jeff in Venice. Wow, I'm speechless.

Aw, man! I talked to him twice last week. He was trying to help me find a new camp. I remember meeting him and Jr. at the get together at the Outing Club way back and shooting clays with them. Another of the old msduckers gone to his reward. Makes me feel old!
