Hate to hear that, Prayers sent. I have been reading his post for years, talked to him a couple of times about financial plans. How old was he, early to mid 50's?

He sent money to help buy Christmas for my niece and nephew after Katrina (parents had lost everything in the storm)....I think that pretty much sums up what kind of heart he had. He helped those he had never met and that speaks volumes and he will always be in my thoughts at Christmas...May God bless him and his family/friends during this time. He will be missed.

I just got the news as well. I hate that. He was a great fellow..offered me advice and helped me get started with a retirement account when I was first starting out.

Prayers for his family

My family will send prayers up for all his friends and family during their time of loss. All my dealings with him, showed me that he was top notch. :(
I am interested in purchasing duck calls that were made by Mike McLemore. I am a family member and they have a sentimental value.

Dang this is awful. I never met him but he had been on the board forever. At one time we had a spirited debate over Dave Ramsey. R.I.P brother, I'll raise a glass tonight. Prayers to his family.

I may be jumping the gun here, but is there anyone really close to him / his family. ..that can comment

Since he has done so much for members here maybe make a contribution to his favorite charity? (If he had one)
Not necessarily duck related unless that would be his wish?
