I hate to hear that man, I'll pass on the info. Make a flyer with pictures and take it to all the local vet clinics and the shelter, and also put a listing on Craigslist and tape it up at several gas stations around the area. I worked at a vet clinic in Oxford for years and most of the lost dogs that were found all were done so through flyers, vet clinics, or the shelter. I also like to add "Has Medical Issues, Requires Daily Medications" and "Reward" to my flyers, if someone picked up the dog and decided they want to keep it that will either make them change their mind or take it to a local clinic to be looked at.
