Ask DS--Photo Restoration

Postby BBR12 » Sat Aug 23, 2014 10:47 am

I have a color picture of my grandfather that I want to get redone. There are a bunch of sites that come up with a google search. Just wandering if anyone had any first hand experience with any.

I have used "Quick Prints" in Meridian a couple of times for restoration. They specialize in that and have many examples of "before and after" in the store. While I don't think that they have an online presence, and Meridian is not convenient to Brookhaven but.........they do good work. This is one of their restorations they did for me. It's a photo of my granny protecting the chickens (and my aunt), or so the family story goes. This was in pretty bad shape, now I have prints and a digital copy. Maybe you could mail it to 'em?

Them ducks is wary. We now resume our regularly scheduled forum melee in progress.
