flooding?

When does everybody start flooding there holes just curious I'm thinking about stopping my pipes up this next weekend make sure I catch enough for opening day trying not to get the camelback out this year

Way too early in my opinion but to each his own. If you plan to hunt teal may not be a bad idea, but your grasses and moist soil may not be mature yet depending on your program. We don't flood ours till first two weeks of November but almost never hunt it first weekend, however January is our sweet spot.

We flood our fields one week prior to the season. We don't want everything to rot under water for that long.
