Anyone been? Looks like I'm moving there in December. Pretty excited about the big game hunting and the fly fishing

Nope, but now I've got a place to stay and go elk hunting.

My roommate has a lease out there for ducks and the footage he brings back is unreal. Very few times have I seen mallards stacked in a river like that.

And like you said, a big game hunters paradise. Good luck out there!

Went and played a football game out there 20 years ago in Pocatello. We rode the snow covered mountain roads one day and there were friggin animals everywhere. Pocatello is sitting in a valley though.

UNBELIEVABLE duck hunting out there don't kid yourself! You are moving to heaven so long as you can handle cold winters, snow and ice.

It wouldn't take much arm twisting for me to move into the area between Idaho Falls and Butte, Montana. Beautiful country.

I went turkey hunting in May. It's paradise. I could live out there. Fishing, hunting, whitewater rafting, etc.

Good friend of mine just got stationed up there. He is Army but is stationed at an Air Force base, he's an avid duck hunter. I can put you in touch with him, he's only been up there a few months but hit the ground running trying to find places to duck hunt.

I'm headed out there in September for elk hunting.

Plan on hunting Pioneer unit. will take lots of pics. this is supposedly the unit where the wolves were first introduced years ago. Looking forward to it.

I'll bring back pics.
