Winches?

Looking to mount a winch on my Polaris 800 midsize ranger without forking over $$$$. What do you guys prefer? I primarily deer hunt now so it will likely never be submerged (at least I don't plan on it). Also what size should I get for a 1100lb machine?

Any experience with the cheap chinese Badlands winches from Harbor Freight? I've read some decent reviews on them on different forums. I was also looking into the Superwinch but I believe they are Chinese made as well as several other companies. Thoughts?

Viper winch is pretty cheap and it will get you out.
Get in where you fit in!

I would get at least a 4,000 pound winch. My only experience with a viper it broke first time it was used and I pulled the guy out with my warn. They can all break tho. I have a 4500 Polaris made by warn on my 800.
