Dayum I'm behind the times. I fiddle around with 4-5 dozen. An adjustment here, case of beer there, some mediocre calling, a bucket of fried chicken, and we are having a fine time, might even play some white snake on the phone when the actions hot.

This year I hunted over two decoys on the Mississippi River. I also will hunt over 300 at a time in the field. It all depends on just whatever works that day. They could be arm lengths apart or they could be super tight.

Just for the record....I've been hunting ducks for 30 years so I've seen all types of "spreads"....just merely trying to drum up some actual duck talk on here.
