I may have missed it, but what are peoples feelings on what the state will do for opening day? i am guessing they will hold off until the 6th. Labor day is on the first which screws it all up

I looked back in my journal and found that the last time that September 1 was on Monday, that is the day that dove season opened. My personal preference would be to wait until September 6 this year.

I too would prefer they just bump it back a weekend like they have done in the past but not recently. . Our sunflowers were late going in anyway.

Thanks.

At least we got 90 days.

I haven't counted them up but it sure doesn't look like this adds up to much change? Sure would be nice to be able to go dove hunting all the way up until when duck season opens.

But I'm glad to have extra days!!
