Secure place to park a boat around NOLA when staying

I'm going to NOLA with the wife Memorial Day weekend (arriving May 23 night thru May 26 morning) and I was going to bring my gheenoe to fish Saturday and Sunday south of town. Either around Reggio or Port Sulphur. The hotel is being wishy washy about whether it will be a problem to get my boat into the garage. It's just a 16' gheenoe, so it's not a massive boat. I was going to see if anyone knows of a secure place where they let people park their boats that don't charge an arm and a leg near downtown or just south of town on the way to Reggio or Port Sulphur.
