The Willows Sporting Clays

Postby GulfCoast » Fri Apr 11, 2014 10:08 am

Does anyone know if The Willows is going to survive the casino closing? I hate for MS to lose one of the few ranges that we still have around, especially one that hosted a US Open.

As far as I know its getting closed just like the casina, hotels, golf course, etc.

I'm hoping there's a buyer ready to jump on this place. That's my favorite course over there. Ceasars stills own Horseshoe which will remain open so I can't see why they wouldn't continue to run the Willows and Cottonwoods.

It is going to close along with their quail hunts and deer hunts.

Heard yesterday it was closed and was looking at being purchased by a group. Not sure on how much is correct bc I havent had time to drive down and check it out.

I just called and was told that 5/25/14 was the official closing date. He did say that there was a remote chance that they might stay open after that date. He also stated the they were booked pretty solid between now and then. You can call or email at

I am interested in purchasing duck calls that were made by Mike McLemore. I am a family member and they have a sentimental value.

Best idea. EVER.
At times there is not a satisfactory substitute for well-aimed lead going down range at high velocity.

I'm in at part ownership. I can put $14.00 down.

Should we do a balloon note?
