Who makes a decent cooker / boiler for shrimp & crawfish. Dont need to feed an army.
Just one of those 30qt size outfits that will last a couple of years...

Junior wants some boiled shrimp when they come into season

I'm going to see Duckaholic to pick up a few for crawfish in the next week or two. I don't mind picking you up one. I come to Oxford a lot for baseball and can meet you there......or can ship it if they won't.

I say go with the 100qt w/ basket and jet burner. A 30qt is pretty small. I have a 120qt set-up and a 80qt set-up. The 120qt set-up is a little overkill, but is great when cooking a bunch of seafood. The 100qt will allow you to cook a sack and fixings at the same time. If you want to go with a smaller batch, just cut your amount of water and seasonings.

80 qt is large enough for a sack of crawfish. I have a 100 qt. and wish I would have gotten the 80 qt. for easier storage.

I have a 100qt and a 160qt and the 160 is a beast when it's full. It is nice to be able to cook 2 sacks at a time, but it takes a BIG burner and high pressure regulator. 100qt is plenty for most folks. We dry boil (steam) our shrimp these days. Much easier to peel. I do 10lbs at a time and I do them in a turkey frying pot.

Got a jet burner from academy sports and 100qt pot and it works pretty good can boil a sack with fixings at once I was using 3 30qt pot before I upgraded it was a pain trying to cook in 3 different pots I think all together for pot and burner was 215 not the high quality stuff but gets them cooked

Yea that's true they are pretty thin can be bent pretty easy but I might do 7-8crawfish cookings a year I figure for that price I can't go to wrong if I get two years out of it I use my smaller pots for everything else
