I had to take the Facebook bait. A photo of a beheaded duck....quote "tearin' 'em up in the timber" with a stack of three (3) mallards...that dude with the Batman face paint...all the menacing bada$$ scowls.....and on and on.

this kind of disrespect for the game we pursue and glorifying the kill is what gives us all a bad name.... I love to WHACK EM And STACK EM as much as anyone but as hunters we have to watch the things we put on the web and on tv....
The far extreme anti hunters will never understand what we do
We as hunters wont change our views.
its the luke warm people in the middle that we must show that we are respectful as hunters.

Re: A new "hunting" program on TV
I still can't fathom (other than it was furnished) why the hunters on 'The Grind' shoot Speed Ball @ $2.50 a pop - at ducks inside of 20 yds......when their farthest shot is probably 25.
Intentionally trying to blow a duck to bits at close range should be enough to turn folks off to that show.......and they oughta kick anyone out of the group that laughs non-stop, too. I remember a show where one guy just laughed the whole time.......like it was his first time out his padded cell.
I think laughing when a game animal dies shows that hunting is a new experience for them and they think that's what you're supposed to do..........and/or they have absolutely no respect for living things.........or are still drunk from the night before.
What could possibly be so damn funny?
