"speak softly, and carry a big stick." - Theodore Roosevelt

Maybe insert paddle for stick...

Being Respectful works both ways.

when some body "disrespects you" it doesn't give you the freedom to treat them however you like

you blind side them with a paddle - I'm pretty sure that's not being Respectful.

karma is tough - if I were you, I would part ways with the paddle slinger.

treat folks like you wanna be treated, even if they talk to you like a dog.

its just a duck hunting - its not like the guy had a knife to yall's neck.

was it at one of the old blind sites? Still numbers on the tree? I wonder if they knew you are from MS, if so the rest of us OOSers trucks might get burned at the motels or ramp.

I had AR tags on my truck and trailer so no worries there. As far as the numbers on my boat, I went by him so fast there's no way he was able to read them so I wouldn't worry about any OOS retaliation...

I guess I'm just not seeing where it's that big of a deal. It's not like it was a full sized paddle...

While we are talking about being respectful on public land....to the guys that loaded their boat Sunday morning at an unnamed WMA in West Central MS, I believe soemone told me they call themselves the Rat Squad or something....next time don't park your truck and trailer right in the damn way so others can't load their boat...we politley swung your trailer to the side of your truck so we could have room to load our boat. You may not have thought about it, or you may have thought that if you parked there nobody else could get in, but it is not a good idea to block the ramp at a public boat ramp.
