Canada Report

Postby Jeff » Tue Oct 29, 2013 9:42 am

Well in the airport at Saskatoon waiting for the first leg of my marathon trip home. Hunted west of Saskatoon and had phenomenal hunting for all days. Shot mallards and Honkers at will, was able to pick out green heads and it was fun. Have lots of pictures however won't have those up for a few days until I get out of an airport. Also have some pretty good footage. Nothing like working a tornado of mallards into 5 yards and feeling the wingbeats off the ducks and geese before you shoot. For those that haven't been it's a bucket list trip, go when you can!

you can do the trip freelancing for a couple thousand or so each for a week and if you go with a guide you'll have to talk to the waterfowler or ramsey on that.

Jeff made 3 duck hunts and a honker hunt over 4 days, so he took home everything he was legally allowed to kill in those 4 days.....i.e. 23 mallards, 1 pintail, and 8 honks.

Otherwise, he's just honoring my request not to divulge any 'specifics'.
