For those of you who use Dwight's in Raymond, you need to get some of the deer tamales next time you get one processed. Another guy makes them for him but my God are they good. Got a little kick to em but they are fine! They around $6-7 a dozen. They come in vacuum sealed bags like everything else they make but all you do is let them soak in that bag in boiling water for about 15 min and you're ready to go.

All their other products are quality but I've never had the tamales. Thanks for the heads up...may have to give them a try.

Tony, as in Tony's Tamales, makes most the tamales that sold by processors. You can probably save some money by going to him directly. He is in Jackson and does a great job.

Don't you have to take "Tony" the meat already ground up?

Good question. If remember right it was about $3 or $3.50 per dozen. About $150 total maybe $175.00.
