Does anyone know exactly where this --- as in what town?? Sign says Donaldsonville but I need to know exactly where this pic was taken---- Weird question, I know....

The prefix on the sign shows up as Shreveport area. Might try google maps in that area.

Long story but we drilled in a phone line north of Convent, LA a few years ago on the east side of 44 just south of the Sunshine River bridge-----the guy that owns the land on the east side of 44 where we drilled within the ROW is claiming we drilled out of the ROW onto his property, so of course he wants money----his attorney demanded 50k and he was told NO!-----now they're threatening to take it to court-----these guys are morons ----- he took a bunch of pics, that were supposedly where we drilled the line in a few years ago, showing where our line was located and he is using that as proof that we were out of ROW-----I've looked at the pics over and over and can't see that they are even where we actually drilled the line in----in the pic I posted it looks like it would be at Hwy 44 at the Sunshine River bridge, which would be right where the we ended drilling, but if you look at Google maps on the street view it's not the same spot------so if it's not right there I'm just wondering the pic was specifically taken----two pics below show the location of the bore we made to put the phone line in and the street view.....

Doesn't appear to be the same location. There is a building in the background of the first picture, and what appears to be an electrical substation on the left, that are not anywhere in the vicinity of your bore site as shown on Google Earth.

Is this the original pic? The reason i ask is that if it was taken with an iphone or camera with gps the EXIF may contain the GPS coords and tell you the exact location. I saved the pic from photobucket but it looks like the exif was stripped from that file.

That first picture is odd. The north-south- east- west direction on the the la-70 sign is missing and the arrow is missing.
