The shutdown is affecting the wrong folks. I have a lot of friends and family that work at the federal pen in yazoo city that are having to work without pay. These are hard working bill paying good ol boys and girls. Just keep them in your prayers. They still have bills to pay and kids to feed.

What is so irritating to me is that this administration feels that it can do whatever it wants with no repercussion from the American people because he is given so much cover from the media..
The issues with the death benefits, the closing of open air memorials to WWII Vets, the kicking people out of their homes on federal lands, the suspension of pay for thousands of Americans, the banning of the Fast & Furious Book, the lawsuits against states that are implementing Photo ID for voting, etc, etc, etc... Yet Congress still gets paid, Obama still goes and plays golf, and then takes a few minutes out of his golf game to go publicly bash the Tea Party and GOP and then allows an Immigration rally on the National Mall just steps away from a closed WWII memorial..
When will America wake up??? Or will it??
