I noticed on the blades that came with the razor the edges are numbered, one and two on one side, three and four on the other. Is that supposed to indicate that after I have used edges one and two I can flip the blade and use it again? That doesn't make sense to me.

Cool. Thanks. I'll pick up some Feathers somewhere and give them a try too.

I'm in the disposable crowd. I used to use the Mach 3 type models and figured I can come out cheaper going the Bic route. Usually can shave a half dozen times before you notice it's getting dull. I don't have a real wild beard. I can see how a manly man would need more blades.

I read a study about six months ago where they tested single disposable razors vs 2 blades, 3 blades.......all the "gimmick" razors out there. Basically, the study proved that there was no difference in the closeness of the shave........in other words, anything more than a single disposable blade was all "marketing" and a way for the razor companies to make $$$$
