I read an article tonight, I have bad insomnia when my back starts hurting, that stated she had been bumped from the cover of Voge. Evidently, that's a big deal. I don't know crap about the magazine other than it's in the checkout line at Wally World. The chief bottle washer of this magazine said she wanted to take the cover "in a different direction" from what she saw at the VMA shows. She also said the performance was "distasteful".

I don't know what to make of all that as I know nothing about fashion but I don't know why Voge would be stepping out now to make a stand. Y'all remember when Miley took that photo shoot a few years ago that her Dad got hammered for allowing her to do. It was some provocative pics by some well known shutter bug that showed the girl draped in nothing but a sheet. The world exploded the next day about it and Voge was the magazine that did that photo shoot. Sound hypocritical to me.

Bottom line everybody wants to make money. If Miley's acting like a two bit whore makes money then that's what she's gonna do. I don't understand it as she's got enough money now to retire and not have to lift a finger for the rest of her life. Why trash your reputation and go all skank with it. The use of the word "finger" may not be appropriate given what she did with the big foam finger.

She's just like every other child star who's trying to show herself as her own person and be seen as a grown up. She might be going to the extreme, but she's no different from Lady Gaga or Madonna in the exhibitionist aspect (as far as measurable talent, she falls quite a bit short in that department). It's just that people used to know her as a Disney character. Whatever.

What still blows my mind is how Maxim had the audacity to rank her as the sexiest woman alive. She would be lucky to make the top 100 list.

If someone actually thinks she is hotter than Kate Upton, or any number of other celebrities, they need their head examined.
