Wife just started a new job in Yazoo City and I'm not too thrilled about her commuting from Clinton any longer than needed. Being as I am a son of the Delta anyway, commuting isn't a problem for me. That being said, where does the DS Braintrust suggest we move to? and why? Schools? Churches? etc?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Benton!! Put your kids in either Benton Academy or Manchester Academy.

There are no public schools in the area you want to send your kids to.

The only one that is fairly descent is bentonia Gibbs elementary. But then you have to live in that district and not many want to live way out there.

I know several ex Yazoo folks that are farmers. They live in Madison, only about 35 from Yazoo and you could send to public schools here.

Yazoo city is like most other delta towns no public schools. We have plenty of good churches and there few decent neighborhoods left in the city limits. Heading north on 49 at 3rd red light hang right. There are several houses for sale in that neighborhood a few for rent. If you are looking to rent PM me my father in law has rental property all over Yazoo.

Stay in Clinton. One of you has to commute, and that's not a bad ride from Clinton.
