Chris Kyle, American sniper murdered

Postby DoubleBandMS » Sat Feb 02, 2013 10:11 pm

Today in Texas. Autobiography American Sniper was based on him as a navy seal. Damn shame, unexplainable. Most confirmed kills ever. Fine American Warrior.

It's a damn shame to accomplish the things he did, then be killed on US soil. I met him last year before going to Afghanistan, seemed like a great guy. He created an organization called FITCO Cares to help veterans with PTSD which apparently his killer was diagnosed with.

yep it's absolutely terrible that this happened, when he was trying to reach out to the young man and help him deal with his problems. prayers for all families involved will surely be needed.

Terrible story. Back in June, during my last round of NRA training, our trainer said to make sure you are wearing a loaded firearm on your hip during range exercises for just these types of things.

I just finished the book. If half of the stuff he wrote about was true, he was a badass. Very good book. Paints a very clear picture of what he went through.
