Grandfather shoots his best and his last

Postby Trick Trick » Wed Jan 16, 2013 2:05 pm

My grandfather is nearly blind and decided to hunt the woods for a dandy. He got a nice one. He topped off his previous best and ended his hunting career. He is happy to say that he has never shot a deer out of a field. He did good to say the least and I am very proud of him. He has showed me everything he knows about hunting. He has somewhat been my idol. Congrats pop

As the musician Stoney LaRue says: "If I'm going down, I'm going down in flames"...awesome way to end a hunting career!

That is a hell of a deer. My dream is to see my dad kill a 160+ and my hunting career would be complete no matter what my biggest turns out to be. Congrats again!

I like the mass and color on that rack. Adds a real nice bonus with the story. Congrats.
