Shot a banded bluebill in Prichard today.

Looks like it was banded in the same group as yours Rjohnson.

I killed a banded greenhead on the 30th that was banded on 08/20/2001 in canada.. hatched 2000 or earlier

oldest bird i have seen yet

Did it have any grey on it's green head? :shock: Congrats! 8) I thought that you have given up duck hunting. I haven't seen you around our old stomping grounds in a while.

Interesting. So it was banded in December and somehow they know it hatched in Cotton Plant, Arkansas?

Banded greenhead killed the last Saturday of the season in Alligator, MS banded in Alberta in August of 2011. My 8th band and its just as exciting as the first one.
