Goodbye Gus...

I had to let my friend go this morning. His body was tired and weak... his spirit was still as strong as ever. The cancer finally won. I was blessed to have been able to stand next to such a magnificent animal through the yea...rs that he was here. I have met a ton of people because of “that” dog. Many whom I consider some of the best people I have ever known. Some I call my best friends.

We share our time with these dogs… it is a gift to us from God… time shared allows us to draw nearer to the center of our hearts and soul… the time shared gives a peace that can’t be found anywhere else… they leave a little bit of themselves that we can carry on forever… again a blessing from above…

I wanted to share this with family, my friends and acquaintances through all parts of my life… a glimpse inside… perhaps… part of me that some may not know… most do… I share this with the joy of all the wonderful memories that I have… the stories to tell… of and about such a truly remarkable dog…

Rest now Gus you have earned it……

Craig I'm so sorry for your loss. Your right. A dog like Gus is truly a gift and its a privilege to stand beside them.

Man sorry for your loss !!!!!! Gus is now chasing all them birds up there with lots of old friends. RIP Gus you was a great one.
