Decoy repair?
Decoy repair?
I have some G&H weighted keels. The mice have eaten holes in the keels, about the size of your pinky nail. I was about to just put some sand in 'em and duck tape the hole (I am not very plastic repair skilled) when I realized that there must be some kind of better way????
Help.
Help.

Re: Decoy repair?
Might try some of the spray in expanding foam silicone they sale at local hardware store. Instead of trying to fix the hole itself.

Re: Decoy repair?
I use a hot glue gun to fix most any decoy issue I have. May not be the best solution, but they stay fixed as long as you clean the application area before hand.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Hot Glue
Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, count to ten, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you wouldn't look good in prison stripes... and just smile at that dumbass and walk away.

Re: Decoy repair?
Expanding foam (aka spumma in the spanish spewaking golf course slang) works great on drainage pipe so Im guessing it will work for you, also try JB Weld but dotn try the quick form of JB Weld, go traditionally

Re: Decoy repair?
pretty much anything would work on the keel to keep the sand from coming out. i'd try some clear silicone caulk
shoot them in the face they may be wearing body armor lol
Re: Decoy repair?

Re: Decoy repair?
Yes. Silicone caulk. That is one option.
Re: Decoy repair?
Got bottle of black silicone gasket maker right here across the street from ya. No clue why I bought it and it must have been over 10 years ago, but give it a try if you want it.
