I would agree.

What the GOP will need to do is to take a very social moderate but fiscally conservative position. People understand the need to control debt and the economy. But what Obama did really well was to divide all of those by special interest. He will take away your right to an abortion, too do drugs, too be Gay, etc. There are just too many people who will vote on a single issue because all they understand is that issue. I would also agree on leaving the social stuff to the states.

If I recall we fought a pretty bloody war over wanting the states to decide that kind of stuff and I think the south was in the states’ rights camp.

If the GPO would get out of the social issues and focus on the economy and the finances of the government then they would be unbeatable.

If we are to ever see a republican win....he or she will have to b Hispanic or black. Mathematically impossible to win with another white male. I am sure y'all saw the breakdown and the way they are multiplying and th fact that older white baby boomers are dying off doesn't bode well.

We are going to be forced to all but seeced from the rest of the country when china stops buying our debt cause the gov will not be able to pay the entitlement BS and the country will turn on itself. It will be them attacking us to try to steal our stuff and our hand will be forced. Buy a lot of bullets and just wait. If you live Ina city, be ready to move out or fight like hell. It would be total and complete economic ruin if the state succeded. Mississippi gets millions and millions of dollars from the goverment now and is still broke. We would be living in a third world country without that federal money, period. I didnt vote for Barry but i think we gotta come together some how, some way at this point.
