What do you guys do this time of year to get your yard weed free for next year?
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

others will reply, but I would suspect some type of granule as a pre-emerge. That said, it may be too early for next year and you would be applying now for the winter weeds. Then again in late winter for spring weeds.

Joel,
I use Simazine (Princep 4l) as my Fall pre-emerge.
Then I use Pendimethalin (Prowl) as my Spring pre-emerge.

Wouldn't hurt to put lime out as well.

You guys using pendamethlyn as your pre emerge should try spectacle. It's fairly new on the market and comes in flo and a WDG, but it will give you 5 months control. It's taken the golf market by storm and is the best out there for poa and crabgrass

Has anyone used the Hi-Yield weed granules as a pre-emerge with any success? I guess its similar to the Scott's Weed and Feed and I use the Scott's in my yard on stickers with great success, so thinking of trying the Hi-Yield in the garden for weed control.

It only comes in a WDG and a flo right now, most people are using the Flo this year around here
