Re: Book Ideas
Got the dummy line Thursday and read a few pages before bed. Finished late Thursday night. Quick read and could not put it down. You should like it!! If you are turkey hunter you gotta read Tenth Legion by Kelly.

"Lights Out" by David Crawford
Kinda of an apocalyptic story of a neighborhood that comes together with different people from different walks of life and skill sets in order to survive in a world where an EMP has wiped out high technology. It is very interesting to look at what skills and knowledge really matter in situations such as that. Can you get a 1960 Ford to run that has no computer, could you grow enough food to feed a neighborhood, can you find water and extract it from a well without a circuit board operated pump, and probably most importantly could your neighborhood defend itself adequately from attacks.

I appreciate all of the ideas. Should give me plenty of options. I have ordered The Dummy Line. Should be here soon. When I finish it, I will have to try some of these others.

Just finished Mississippi Mud. Not about hunting or the outdoors but it is about a true story that happened on the MS Gulf Coast. Pretty interesting.

If you liked Jerimiah Johnson the movie you should read Crow Killer. Its the book the movie was based on and is pretty awesome.
I just ordered Trials of the Earth, its an autobiography of a woman living in Bolivar County in the pioneer days of the late 1800's. Supposed to be really good.
Life by Keith Richards is really good if you like reading about drugs, rock n roll, and poontang. Its a big book, 500 pages or more i read it in a day.

Re: Book Ideas
A little off topic but I recommend getting your wife 50 Shades of Grey to read in the bed before yall go to bed. Trust me.
Re: Book Ideas
Well guys, I picked up The Dummy Line and it never made it to the deer stand. I'm not a fast reader and a day and a half later I have finished it and it was really good. I am now looking forward to the next one coming out Moon Underfoot.
