My puppy is still refusing to pick up the white bumper but will retrieve the orange one everytime. The white one is plastic the orange one is canvas...tried switching to a white canvas one but he will not retrieve that one either...funny thing is when we took him to the river back in July he water retrieved the white plastic one several times and did very well with it....any ideas suggestions???????

Paint it orange! Just kidding. Do you just have one of each? Try a flagman, you can get them on most all of the gun dog supply sites. They are black and white, can even tie a streamer on the end. Dogs seem to love them. Get the small one, easier for the dog to handle. They are canvas as well.
