Wader Storage

I've always hung my waders by the boot during the off-season. With four hunters now in full size waders (out of kid sizes) I'm out of wall space. Anybody store them folded in a storage box? Cracking issues?

Put em' in a trash bag and store in a deep freezer. Last a little longer this way.

I wash mine off good at the end of the season, let them dry good and sit them on the top shelf in my closet. During the season, they are usually in the bottom of the boat, in the back of my truck or sitting in the garage. Mine are 4 seasons old and haven't had any problems at all.

I clean, dry, and then fold them up and put them in a large Tupperware box. I have never seen any issues with cracking etc....

i've heard that spraying them down with armorall helps prolong the life.

if you fold them, you will stress the seams and they will crack. Best advice is find more wall space. One of those 4 pair boot hangers dont take up much room at all.
