Timber buyers around Boonville

I am handling my grandmother's land in Booneville and its ready to be thinned. +-75ac tract. If any of ya'll buy/cut timber in that area and are intrested in bidding on it shoot me a PM and I'll get a bid package to you. thanks

It would be interesting to hear what kind of per ton prices you get. In Rankin County I just got a price of $28/ton for pine sawlogs and $6/ton for pine pulpwood.

I'm intrested to find out what I can get up there too, down here where I'm at we're not getting quite that good, its around 21/ton saw logs and 5/ton on pulp

Jasper County: pine and hardwood sawtimber $30.00/ton, CNS $15.00/ton, pine pulpwood $6.00/ton, hardwood pulpwood $10.00/ton. April 2012.

Call Patrick Brown at Pine Oaks Timber 1-662-889-1467. He is a licensed Forrester and a timber buyer.

Pro Logging in Booneville or Baldwyn. They just cut/thinned around 300 acres for us. Very pleased with their work. By far the cleanest and quickest work I have seen.
