over/under shotgun choke question

if one barrel has an extended choke in it and the other does not, is there any risk firing the barrel that has the flush choke in it being that the other barrels choke extends and extra inch? I know, strange question....

I'm no expert, but I've done this in my gun several times with no evident issues.

Shot will still be in the wad at the muzzle and for several yards past that. Should not be an issue at all.
