And it sucks. Usually smoke a pack to pack and a half a day. Been up since 0430 and only had 4 today. Not making any new friends today thats for sure. Stopped smoking in my truck this weekend so that helps out a little.

I smoked about the same amount as you, I have not had a drag in 16 days. I got me a electronic cigarette a bunch of gum and some sunflower seeds and I have been fine. I just told myself it was time to quit so I picked a quiting date and got mentally prepared. The electronic smoke helped me for sure, stick with it and I wish you luck!

Do it bro! Your saving your own life in the long run. I quit dipping over a week ago and it does suck, but you can do it.

1-800-QUIT-NOW

That is the telephone number to the quitline. They have counselors, as well as additional resources to help you quit. Good luck, and know that we are behind you. You can do this.

Day 2:
Normal wake up at 0430, 10 hours later only 3 cigarettes.
Wife thinks I am a booty (I don't see it)
The guy that answered the phone at directv is no where near as happy as he was when he first said hello.
The guy at work that I told to come back when he had a plan that an 6 year old didnt design is probably about as happy as the directv guy is with me.
My boss now knows how far I think his head could really fit up his own booty.
The lady at mcdonalds now knows exactly what NO onions means.

If you can get past the side effects of Chantix, the drug actually works!

Smoke free since 11/13/06
+ about "fordy" on the hoof though

best thing I ever did....food taste better, water taste better, I felt better, could tell a difference in how much wind I had in a mater of days. You realize quick how bad they are as your body begins to go through the quitting process. To this day, the only time I really think about a smoke is in a duck blind and sitting around on a porch in the evening.
