Didn't realize till today he was one of the first owners of Mean Mallard. Bought several guns from him through the years when he owned it and then when he worked for Bates. Always seemed like a good guy.

Sorry to read this...was just reading the post about the food plots from the other day. I hope y'all can get his kid a deer or 20 this year out of those plots he was talking about planting.

Sad to read. Didn't know him personally, but always read his stuff. Seemed like a good dude.
