The fact of the matter is its just not a 130" deer, plain and simple. Maybe you put all your numbers into the B&C scoring thing and instead of finishing it out you just added it yourself and forgot that outside spread and tip to tip on the main beams doesn't count. Then maybe it will be 130, but otherwise, its just not.

You so sure pal, how about a bet........none of the other big mouths would, but most like to talk chit, and can't back it.

I'm not talking trash, its just fact. I don't need to take your money to prove it. Everyone has been wrong before, swallow your pride, read up on scoring deer, and measure again.

I don't know what the deer will score, but I do know that the way my year is going, I would have shot him. So congrats on the deer and thank you for providing me with entertainment the last couple days.

I aint betting nuttin (its a nice deer period) but i would like to guess without it costing me $100 .....................NET score after drying (119+) ..............i have a 127 a 135 a 143 and a 160 .

I'm not against you.....you clearly said he shouldn't measure H4 and B&C says you do by taking the measurement halfway between the G3 and the tip of the main beams. Just stating facts is all.[/quote]

Re read the rules on scoring h-1,2,3,&4 you do that only if the G4 is missing (like broken off or you have one on one side and not the other!) A typical 8 will not have a G4 therefore will not have an H4 measurement.

I have decided that this deer will never be scored. Defeats the purpose of hunting. He's a wall hanger to me, may not be to you. Only one person (me) has scored this buck, and it shall remain that way, as that's all that matters. Say all you want, as someone saw to it that I got banned. For those that know me, I don't lie. I do stir up plenty of chit however, and someone obviously got there feelings hurt. I took all the chit, yet I got banned. So be it. I can live with it. Ain't apologizing either, but thought it fair that folks know what is going on. Thanks CC if you decide to post this....

I don't know DIB and I don't know why he was banned, but I think he needs to be let back on the site. I have been entertained for 2 days from this thread and have been entertained by his other post as well. Hope the ban is temporary. Congrats on a great deer and screw the score!! It is a trophy deer regardless of the measurements.
