What to use to get rid of wood bees?

Tried the tennis racquet and beer method this afternoon. Was quite fun hearing that twang of the bees meeting the racquet.

As kids, we used to hit them with old aluminum arrow shafts. Took some practice, but worked wonders for hand-eye coordination.

I can about hit em with anything I can grab. I built a box, but it was out of treated wood and don't think they care for it much. I lost count at 38 the other day with a grill spatula (was not being used for grilling)!

Spray some Demon WP! Works great for me.

+1 on the picture that Slayem posted. Make sure to plug the existing holes around the area you are going to hang the trap with some steel wool. From what I read, they return and use the holes from previous years and just dig further into the wood.
