I live out here in Fort Worth.

Places to go:
Stockyards is always good. (Billy Bob's)
BooRays in hudson oaks for the best cajun food.
Yukatan Taco Stand on Magnolia St....strongest margaritas anywhere, ever. Drink 2 and you will BLACKOUT. I've been heavily drinking for years and never experienced anything like that. My girlfriend and I have a 2 margarita limit there.
Capital Bar...good live music/bar
Wild Rooster...good live music. Not too texas country more laid back, rock, southern rock, hippie stuff.
The Bottom on Bluebonnett circle....good food. right close to TCU. good place for lunch and not too expensive.
Uncle Julio's ..mexican
Paris Cafe...best breakfast IN THE WORLD. If there is a line...you stay there and wait. Not open on sundays. serv. breakfast from daylight til 11am i think.
Hyena Comedy club...pretty good times in there. plus there is a club in same building you guys could all go booty dance with each other after a good laugh.
Texas de Brazil....only go if you are hungry for meat. and lots of it. do not plan on going out afterwards.
Pourhouse...kinda a club type thing...but you can get a seat and chill out too.

Places not to go:
Cattleman's steakhouse....overrated big time. I've had better steaks and service at Logan's.
The 80's theme club on university...not sure the name, but it is terrible.
The Rainbow club...and all the other clubs on that intersection...that area is for the homosexuals.
