Water in pit blind....

Postby Dr. B » Thu Dec 27, 2012 7:07 am

What's the most efficient way to get a lot of water out of a pit blind besides 2 guys using 5 gallon buckets?

Gas pump and a few hoses. If its a constant issue you could get set up for a couple hundred bucks.

If you don't have access to a trash pump, a bilge pump and 12v battery will empty one also.

12 volts sounds quite in case it had to run while you hunted.

I am interested in purchasing duck calls that were made by Mike McLemore. I am a family member and they have a sentimental value.

The advise listed above will work but not nearly as funny as getting 5 or 6 of your fattest hunting buddies to jump off into the pit to displace as much water as possible. :D

Hell, it may be a moot point. My fields are probably frozen. Gonna drive 5 hours to see sheets of ice in da soybeans and milo! Whoo Hoo!
