F-150's have been targeted bad lately. The news ran a story the other night.

Just an FYI for my Jackson friends that are always giving me hell for not stopping when I pass through town. It's not because I don't like you, it's because I drive an F-150.

By the way, I have another buddy who had his F250 stolen from there last year and they found it in the St. Dominics parking garage down the street about 2 months later. Apparently the thief drove it straight there that night and it took 2 months for the security guard to notice that the truck never seemed to move. Of course everything valuable was gone but at least he got his truck back. They didn't bother my Chevy there last night. I'm just sayin...

Are the 09-12 F150's as easy to break in as the 04-08 & superdutys?? I had my 250 broken into 3 times. I was hoping I wouldn't be as big a target in a 09 150.

Little device called a "Jimmy Jammer" goes a long way. That is, if the thiefs are just popping out the key lock. I've seen people with the door code, replace the door handle assembly to a rear door of passenger side handle that eliminates the key hole.

I've been hearing a lot about F-series trucks being broken into and stolen. Are they that easy to steal? Or are they desired that much over the competition that those are just the prefered choice of thieves?

A few weeks back there was some guys arrested in Jasper county for selling stolen vehicles. It was on WDAM news in Hattiesburg. Said they were all stolen in and around Jackson. Showed a clip of the confiscated vehicles and they were mostly Ford trucks.
