Axe ducksouth: Buying cypress trees

Postby greenheadgrimreaper » Thu Feb 09, 2012 12:15 pm

Say a fellow wants some cypress trees to plant around his lake. Big ones. And money is not a priority. Just how big can you buy them or can you? Any good places to buy cypress trees? He is also looking at planting several oaks and persimmons too. Thanks.

If money is not an priority then check out this place north of St Louis. I toured their place not long ago and their RPM (root production method) is amazing. Saw 2 yr old oaks that were loaded with acorns. They ship all over the world.

You're pissing in the wind if you don't know how to deal with b and b's. You bang that root ball around and that tree is gonna die.

I was looking at the Forrest Keeling website and see no prices. Anyone know how much their trees cost.
