Don't be jealous just because y'all are wimpy. Just because they can haul in an 8', 300# gator with one hand and throw it over in the boat like it's a wet beach towel doesn't mean they are lying about the weights.

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. Benjamin Franklin.

I think amos moses is the best gator hunter ever, to hell with the fake swamp man. His daddy used him for alligator bait.
Damn, i thought I had that one

I admit this show is one of my very few vices. My wife gives me the stank eye look whenever I watch it, she just thinks its stupid. Staged it is but hey its better than most of crap on TV now days. If it were not for this show my 2 year old couldn't say "choot it, choot it, choot that alligator" ( probably another reason my wife gives me the look)

I get tired of alot of the made for tv crap, but we still set the dvr and record it at my house, my 3 year old loves to sit on the couch with a rope and his toy shotgun pulling up gators and "chooting them". I also somehow have a filling that troy and the rest of them don't go into the last day of the season with a bunch of tags to fill

correct me if im wrong, but i thought you had to shoot them with nothing more than a .22 rimfire. i couldnt help but notice tommy sniping gators on one episode in open water with a nice big bolt action rifle (definitely not a .22 or .17) when he was out with his drinkin buddy. i do agree that the editing and scripting makes these shows too far fetched and is hurting the quality.

while on the subject...deadliest catch episode where wizard is pulling blanks in 25 foot seas and overcast but they find a gull in the cabin, say its good luck, walk back out on deck to blue skies, calm seas and the very next pot is slam full. riiight... rant over.

Yes Troy is a Millionaire, that dude bruce brother in law is the dude that makes go devil motors they definitely aint making there money catching gators. O and the average wild gator that is caught wild is around 6 foot long and only brings in about 25 dollars now a days, hell a 13 foot gator thats hyde is perfect is only bringing in 130 at market.
