My in-laws just called and said that my lab has been missing for a day. If anyone finds a black female lab in Brookhaven, please let me know. Her name is Janie. Thanks

dont give up on her... they know where home is. Someone picked my dog up a few years ago and it took her a month but she made it back home! She was in pretty poor shape but she knew how to get home. They are pretty amazing animals.

Thanks! I am headed to Brookhaven today to look. They think someone may have taken her because she normally does not leave the area.

Thsats the same way my dog is. She doesnt roam off... I bet if someone has her and she gets a hlaf a chance to get away she'll head for home.

/What area was she in or street? I am in Brookhaven until Sunday and will be on the lookout. Told everyone here to do the same.

Don't give up on her....I've got a female Mtn. Cur squirrel dog that I've shot over her head thousands of times with shotguns, and she won't flinch....but, if she hears a clap of thunder, she'll run off, if we aren't home to pen her up....last time it happened, she ended up at a friend's house nearly two miles away....she would have eventually come home, but scared us badly for a couple of days.
Keep putting the word out....sure hope you had put an I.D. collar on her.

The good Lord answered my prayers, and my father in law found Janie Saturday running down the road near their house. Thank you all for your help and support. I am ecstatic! I thought she was gone for good. I still believe that she was taken because she never leaves the house, so if your in the Brookhaven area, you may want to keep a closer eye on your dogs. Thanks again! Let me know if I can ever return the favor.
