deer hide tanned? Where

looking for a place to tan my son's first deer hide ( hair on) please? Was there a place near Sturgis?

Take it to Trophy Room Taxidermy in Columbus. Todd is the owner, a good friend, great guy, and apprenticed under Leland. Very reasonable

Paepki's deer processing on County Lake Road in Starkville will do it. In fact, I have a fox that they are doing right now.

For a finished tanned hide, not a salt cured hide, send it to Barrett's. They are a tannery in Columbus, I think, and they tan for taxidermists across the U.S. My taxidermist has used several across the US and he says the best is Barrett's by far.
