True Grit

Postby skuna » Fri Nov 19, 2010 9:21 pm

I looks like they have re-made the old John Wayne classic "True Grit". It looks like it is going to be well made....we shall see. It is rare to see a good western made these days.

Someone posted about it a few weeks ago. I agree it looks like it will be a good one, it will be one of the very few movies I will watch in a theatre.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

Unstoppable was very good...it and SALT are the only decent movies I've seen in a while.

Some things better left alone. Jeff Bridges is as much Rooster Cogburn as Bigwater's the Pope.

I want to see the movie, but I like the old john wayne classic and feel it should have been left alone, don't think it should have been remade. But all the reviews say its good, and follows the novel more closely

Really, really good. Even John Wayne would have approved of Jeff Bridges as Rooster. Did I mention it is was really really good? IMO
